Night time in Lauttasaari. Wind shaking the last leaves from the trees. Cosy feeling. Where are you and whate are you doing?

Strange how these needs to jot it down all comes in droves. One two, and there I am again. Not long things like riverbend. Amazing. Still trying to fit these clothes on - I suppose. Not that long things scare me, they just don't seem to come naturally. some would say this indicates an empty life, devoid of things worth telling, but i have come to think the opposite is just as true. Sometimes you are so busy coping with the "small" things that there is not much time left for discussing it. It's true, i am less depressed now than ten years ago, much due to the fact that there is no time for it. The kids and making food, and working, and cleaning, and sometimes reading a little is just so much.

I am back. The birds are chirping outside my window, Sara Lidman has died some time ago, sweden is being drowned in rain, snow and ice in Germany. Ok, so others have a worse summer than we this year, but really, this much rain? Yeesh. And not even a proper net connection here on our little island. Yes, we have conducted our yearly migration to summer camp, where the sea is near, food is often grilled over open fire and we regrade to more primitive primates. Lovely. And the reading is good too. I have been laughing my head off reading Neal Stephenson, first off was Quicksilver, now Confusion is almost finished. Do yourself a favour, pick it up!

I went swimming yesterday evening for the first time in almost a year. I had a headache, i was tired, but i dragged myself there nonetheless. Iw as rewarded, it felt really good, and even though i am sore today i am really happy i went, i will go again. It seems to be a question of allowing oneself to actually go, and then flow with it.

time passes on, and it is quite nice. Some people are angry at blogging since it messes with their serarch results. Others call all bloggers moreon without anything to say. One reaction to that was a discussion on the nature of blogs, whether they should be seen as online commentary of daily events, or as diaries. I think they are a bit of both, and mostly written for the hell of it, not caring about the over priced preciousness of so called seriour discourse. It is real nice to let your hair down once in a while, and mostly for yourself, as most input makes little or no sence in this respect to outsiders. That's okay too, it is a part of that freedom. Silly, yes, but so what?
